Publishing your Google Fonts fonts

Create and use the Google Fonts embed code

To use Google Fonts fonts on your site, you need to figure out what fonts you’re using and get the embed codes for those fonts from Google Fonts.

Getting the Embed Code

Go to Google Fonts, and find the font you’re looking for. If it’s the only Google Fonts font you’re planning on using, click the “Quick Use” button. If it’s the first of many, click “Add to Collection” and repeat until your Collection contains all the fonts you need, then click “Use” in the Collection pane at the bottom of the screen.

Choose all the weights and styles you need, as well as the character sets you need, keeping in mind that page load times will be affected. You can then select between a JavaScript embed code and two CSS embed codes. Copy the one that fits your needs the most, and paste it into the <head> tag of every page of your site.
