How to narrow down the cause
First up, we're sorry. Connecting shouldn't be (and usually isn't) a problem, but if it is, try these steps to figure out why.
- Try loading Typecast in a Chrome incognito window. If it works there but not a regular window, then you could have a conflicting extension installed.
- To rule out speed issues, check your bandwidth too.
- We've also built a diagnostics test for you to pin down connection and configuration problems. We won't be able to fix these for you, but you will have the information you need to make the changes in your set up, or to pass on to your Systems Administrator to do.
- We may also need to see the contents of your error console, if you're experiencing a problem that's not on our radar. Get in touch with us and we can help you work through any problems.
